...then nothing is known through the mind. There is only body-knowing, and in body-knowing there is neither the idea of separation nor the idea of wholeness. In this state of intellectual not-knowingness there is only the activity of being. The body functions intelligently and does what it does. The body can awaken in silence, go to the bathroom in silence, get dressed in silence, eat breakfast in silence, go to work in silence, and only think while at work if thinking is required (some types of work require no thinking). Whenever thinking is not required, the mind can remain quiescent. When the mind remains quiescent, there is no thought of separation, wholeness, or anything else. This kind of mental silence is not necessary for attaining clarity and freedom from illusion, but if extant, it does make obvious the superfluousness of 99% of all reflective thought.
