Everything they do makes sense, and everything other people do makes sense. If you want to understand what's going on, existentially, you will have to leave thinking behind.
When you were a young child, you never thought about whether anything made sense. You saw "what is," and interacted with "what is" directly. You can return to that childlike way of being, but it will require shifting attention away from thoughts to "what is." Look, listen, smell, taste, feel, attend, and contemplate isness. Look at the clouds in the sky without thinking "clouds" or "sky." Listen to birdcalls or cars honking without thinking "birdcalls" or "horns honking." Smell the roses without thinking "roses" or "Oh what a sweet smell." Look at the body without thinking "body" or "my body." Leave words, thoughts, images, symbols, memories, fantasies, and all ideation behind. Look at the world like a baby who doesn't yet know what it's looking at. This is the path to reality, freedom, and existential understanding.
