At the SIG retreat last year a psychiatrist was one of the presenters. He had been a seeker for many years, had realized various stuff, had found answers to the questions that had bothered him, and had finally become satisfied with his understanding. He felt like "his search" was over, and he was content. He went about his everyday business for the next 14 years, and everything seemed pretty normal. Then, suddenly, on a particular day, BOOM! selfhood disintegrated, and his understanding was revolutionized. Ha ha!
