Important note: All the posts on this blog were written by Bob Harwood (AKA 'zendancer') on the forum spiritualteachers.proboards.com. I have merely reposted a collection of them in blog format for the convenience of seekers. Some very small mods were made on occasion to make posts readable outside of the forum setting they were made in.

In deep meditation

--specifically in what is called "absolute samadhi"--there is pure awareness with no content, no experiencer, and no awareness of time, space, or anything else. It is impossible to even describe that state of unity-consciousness because it has no qualities or attributes of any kind. It is not "like" anything else because it is utterly beyond categorization and thought. Prior to entering that state there is an experiencer and experience, but in that state and of that state no description is possible.
